Last year by the time we got to the Sweet 16, all games through out the year banged us up and we had two very tough games in the early rounds and it just wore on us. I felt like we had nothing left in our tanks by the time we got to the Sweet 16 last year.

en We just got blown out in some games and that's not going to happen this year. I can't put a number on how many games we'll win this year, but we will be more competitive. Our kids have made a commitment to the weight room that they will be there 80 percent of the time in the summer and 90 percent of the time for our linemen.

en We've got to win as many games as we can and hope we get some help, because we definitely don't control our own destiny. But there are a lot of games left to be played. This time of year, we've just got to keep winning.

en This year, I'm a different guy in that I've been in the system for a year, ... and I think we've got more talent this year, I really do. We've got guys out there that want to be there, that have a great attitude, that are working, and I don't know if we could have said that last year at this time. But this year we can. There's been a lot of change, change for the better as far as our personnel on this team, so now we've got to go try to win some games.

en She had a sweet, sweet 50 in the prelims last year (26.1), so that was kind of what we were chasing and it just didn't quite come down for her this year. So I was hoping there was a 50 sprinter in there with that distant sprinter.

en Last year, we didn't know what to expect, and we were nervous going into the Sweet 16. This year, we know it's another game and that we have to do what we've done all year to be successful. We're excited for the chance to improve on last year's results.

en Regardless of what you all were told, when you basically tell somebody with six games left that they?re not going to be here next year, I think it?s pretty tough to finish the year out.
