After having Friday off, it was good to come back and get a victory. The most important thing is we were 18-of-22 from the free-throw line.

I haven't been to the free throw line in so long I forgot what it was like. I feel like I have to redo everything. Start all back over again. I couldn't believe how many bricks I shot at the free throw line. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

I'm just thankful for the free-throw line because we stepped up and made the free throws. Good teams make their free throws and we're getting to the free-throw line so much more this year than we have in the past.

They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. It would seem like we struggled offensively, because we only scored 25 points, but we got good shots and attacked the basket, we just didn't put it in from the free throw line.

The whole game was summed up at the free-throw line. It came down to the last few seconds. If you're going to go 50 percent at the free-throw line, you're not going to have a chance to win against a good team.

We didn't want to put them on the line. We knew they were a good free throw shooting team. Their guards are good free throw shooters. We talked that maybe we were fouling the wrong people, but in the heat of the moment, what are you going to do?

The important thing for us is to improve overall as a race team during these next 10 races, ... We haven't put up a good effort since Daytona where we finished fifth. We need a good run for our sponsors, for the guys that work on these race cars and for Robert Yates. The other thing that is important to us is getting back to victory lane. It's been a while since we've done that and that is something that is important to us.

The most important things was the free throw line, no question. The other thing was, down the stretch, I saw us lose our composure much more than I would have thought at this point of the season.

That's one thing we've been working at. We started the year pretty weak at the free-throw line. Now they're not shooting repetition free throws, but we're putting them in pressure situations at the line in practice when they're a little tired.

Our offense wasn't good toward the end and we just wanted to pull it out. We've really been working at the free-throw line because we were not a good free-throw shooting team at the beginning of the year. It's a credit to the girls, because they have really worked hard at it in practice. You can tell when they step up there they think it is going in.

That was how the game was called. We want to be physical. We want to attack the basket and we want to get to the free-throw line. We've got a goal to get to the free-throw line 30 times, and we didn't. ? There were fewer calls than we expected.

I felt fine (at the free-throw line). I never feel bad at the free-throw line. I'm not really nervous. I just missed them. They just didn't go in. I'm disappointed. They were obviously big things for us to win the game.

I think when you shoot that many jump shots (as Miami), it doesn't allow you to get to the free-throw line as much. Getting to the free-throw line is a point of emphasis for our program.

We didn't get to the free throw line. And if you don't get to the free throw line, that hurts your ability to put points on the board.
