en The whole goal in this place was to grab the local community. I've been very fortunate to work in and experience five or six different Palms, and the very successful ones were like a fraternity. en It will take about two months to get job description accurate, the requirements accurate, make sure you get the advertisement out there, get the applications in you want and get a pool of people to start working with. That's probably a minimum of three months. And then go through the selection process of scheduling and giving written examinations, scheduling and having your oral interviews. ... And then when you get past that process, you have psychological testing, evaluation you need to give them, and you have the polygraph examination they need to take. There's a lot of stuff that needs to be in place that doesn't exist in this city before you get into this. The cart is way ahead of the horse right now.

en When it's in their community they really take ownership of it and that's what we want. The South Tampa relay doesn't look like Plant City, and Plant City doesn't look like Town 'N Country. Each community makes it its own.

en A kid-friendly city is a city where you would want to raise a child, a place that is safe, that has good schools (and) where the people are involved in the community.

en I think this is incredibly frustrating for not only the neighborhood and community people but for everybody. The city staff wants clarity as well.
