en We have always felt that the fellowships in question were but a small part of an overall graduate program that provides opportunities for thousands of our students, from every imaginable cultural background, to pursue graduate degrees while working at Southern Illinois University.

en The partnership between Missouri State University and IBM creates tremendous opportunities for both students and faculty alike. I applaud IBM's effort and commitment to advancing the study of technology in schools. I would encourage others to follow in their example of providing support to students who will be called upon to compete in an increasingly technology-driven, global workplace.

en It was basically something that was kind of in the back of my mind, that there was a need for, for a long time. One of the things that inspired me to start it was I've been looking around for jobs myself, and I've done study abroad and not had a whole lot of support, and I realized this is the problem a lot of international business students were having as well as me.

en Our students are adults returning to school. It's designed to make education possible for working adults, and provide training for unions in the area. If there ever was a time when the study of work was important, it's now in the global marketplace.

en There is no international agreement to introduce emissions trading for global aviation and we do not want the EU scheme to be sidelined by international disputes or for EU airlines competitiveness to be jeopardized.
