en I'm very disappointed with our defensive effort tonight and we will definitely be working on that (Wednesday) in practice I assure you.

en I was proud of my team tonight, they really hung in there. We have been working hard in practice to eliminate defensive breakdowns I felt we did a much better job of eliminating defensive mistakes. Even though at times they carried the play, I thought we did a nice job.

en I told the kids, what did we do good tonight? We made so many mistakes. This was the first time I've been disappointed in our defensive effort.

en Mike came in this morning like he did (Wednesday). He scripted the practice, he set the format for practice, the schedule times. He reviewed Wednesday's (practice) film, met with the offense, and went over the corrections of Wednesday's film.

en We played like we had been off for 13 days. Tonight was the first time during the lay-off that I felt we did not give maximum effort. I was very disappointed in our effort tonight and we will certainly address that when we get back and before Saturday.

en It makes me very proud of him. I look at all these guys here like little brothers. And he is out there in practice and working hard. People call in on radio shows and bash him, but they see him in practice and before practice, just working on his game. His improvement tonight just didn't come out of nowhere.

en We're mad. Plain and simple, we're mad and we're disappointed with our effort tonight because this is a game we really should have won. There's a lot of ifs in life, but we're mad and disappointed and that's exactly the way I want them to be. I don't want them to feel good about a game where they only gave effort in the second half.

But all those people who have knocked him and have speculated about his future, let me assure you he will be playing in the future. He will be. He wants to be an Eagle. But I assure you, do not write him off.

en We were disappointed with the outcome, but I'm not disappointed with our effort. We just want to keep improving by working hard and playing with enthusiasm. We have a lot to build on. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others. I'm certain we will get a lot better fast.

en We went out (on Tuesday) and made it like a Wednesday practice. If it's not moved, we'll have Wednesday's practice again, but if a lot of the other teams are starting to (move), I would probably say that we'll follow suit.

en I'll tell you what, big boy, Wednesday you climb in the car with me for practice and you find out for yourself. Better yet, you can drive the car if you like because I'll be more than happy to take Wednesday off if that's what I've got to go through again. I'm not real anxious to get back in the car for practice if that's how it's going to be.

en We're disappointed obviously in our effort tonight. We came out sluggish. That's a good hockey team we played, and they just took it to us tonight. We couldn't work out of the funk.

en We were pleased with the defensive effort the girls put forth on Sunday. We have been working a lot on the defensive aspect of the game in the early spring practices and it was nice to see it translate onto the field.

en I was pleased with our defensive effort tonight. We played well all around tonight and we'll need to build on that.
