en Yeah, they're hard-hitting. The biggest thing is they get their shots on quarterbacks. They bring everybody, and whoever's out there covers. That's the way they do it and they've been successful.

en We have a good face-off team and that's important. We also had some good short sticks and that's probably the best thing we do: we get in transition and our short sticks have been producing. I still don't think we're scoring the way I would like but we're a young team and we'll get better.

en Because the demands on a goalie are mostly mental, it means that for a goalie the biggest enemy is himself. Not a puck, not an opponent, not a quirk of size or style. Him. The stress and anxiety he feels when he plays, the fear of failing, the fear of being embarrassed, the fear of being physically hurt, all the symptoms of his position, in constant ebb and flow, but never disappearing. The successful goalie understands these neuroses, accepts them, and puts them under control. The unsuccessful goalie is distracted by them, his mind in knots, his body quickly following.

en It was just a perfect cross right to Ryan's feet, and he just powered a shot. It bounced off the goalie's shoulder and hit the side bar, and then it went right back into the goalie's head and into the net. It was just a powerful shot, and it actually knocked their goalie down. en These nights happen and as a goalie you just want to be solid and give the team a chance to win. We found a way to score a lot of goals against a great goalie.

en That was the thing we were looking to do was give him the opportunity to get a nice time. I think the biggest thing is he knows he can still go faster ... and the nice thing about it is he ran it with fresh legs.

en He's one of our biggest sticks in the lineup. He got a hold of a couple of good balls.
