en It will be a tough match this afternoon. Geoff has played some great golf this week and came in today on a roll. Somebody has to grab some momentum and make some birdies.

en There's just nothing wrong with letting us make a few birdies every now and then. With the greens being receptive, without any wind, we're going to make birdies. I think that leads to exciting golf this week.

en There's a lot of pride out here. You don't expect this golf course to play that hard. It used to be that if you weren't playing well, you could always make some birdies. I've made two birdies all week.

en I just didn't play well. I played poorly this morning and poorly for the first nine holes this afternoon. But you know, Geoff played very well. You have to give him a lot of credit. He played extremely well and made a lot of clutch putts. I am proud of the way I performed this week though.

en With the conditions, all the courses are there to make some birdies. I think the scoring is going to be good this week if the weather stays like this. Sixty-two is a great start, but it's not like the tournament is over. I have to keep playing solid golf. Hopefully, I can do what Phil did last year.

en First week? I was very happy to get through today. I mean, the next match will be tough, especially now. So, yeah, you know, we'll see. Hopefully it can get better. en We knew that he'd have some tough competition last week. But the tennis he played was beneficial. He'll have another tough match (today), but he usually rises to the occasion of his competition.
