en One of the things our movie is going to deal with is what happened in 60 years. Which world was better? Sixty years ago or now? Within, obviously, a kick-ass plot and all the stuff that you've come to expect from a superhero movie.

en I was 6-6, 240 pounds and didn't look like a very nice guy out there so nobody ever threw a racial slur at me. There were some things that happened a couple of times to my teammates, and I came to their rescue, but nobody ever said anything to me. I had a bald head, never smiled?they wanted no part of me. There was one scene in the movie where one of our players is beaten up in a restaurant bathroom and his head gets shoved in the toilet, but that never happened. If anybody would've stuffed one of my guys heads in the toilet like that, they wouldn't have lived to tell about it. There's nothing Haskins or anybody else could've said to stop me from doing something really bad to those guys. Again, that's the movie stuff. Good for dramatics, but I'd never let that happen.

en Some of the things really happened. Some of them are just a movie.

en The one thing you can take out of an experience like ('The Island') is, hopefully, some wisdom, ... We've talked about it conceptually, the decision to make the movie, how we cast the movie, how we've marketed the movie. There are things to learn on all fronts. But there's not just a formula that works every time. We will learn things from it, but we might go blindly into something similar in the future.

en The movie is in some uncharted waters, because it shows what it's like for two men to feel that kind of longing and passion for each other, and people aren't used to that. No one movie is going to turn things around, but they can be building blocks. That could be this movie's legacy.

en 'Prince of Egypt' is an enormous gamble for DreamWorks, ... It's a very expensive film. The question is: can they be all things to all people? Can they sell it as an action movie to young men, and a family movie to families, and a religious movie to what they're calling the faith community?

en It was one of those things that happened, and it happened the way it happened, and you can't go back on it, ... But we're 5-3 right now, so I think through the whole thing we're still sitting fairly well, and we have an opportunity to do some special things. So it didn't hurt us too bad if it was a distraction, hopefully.

en I think it could definitely be disturbing. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. It's taken the central theme and it's definitely the same story, but the elements of the book have been changed quite a lot. It's still set 30 years in the future and the conceit is still the same, that no one has had a baby anywhere for eighteen years and our reluctant hero has ended up linked with the only pregnant girl on the planet. That's still the same, but Alfonso's done a really fascinating, unusual exploration of where things could be going, and that's still very, very strong in the movie. It's a very unusual take. People are assuming it's a sci-fi movie but it's almost the opposite of that. It's like now, but worse. It's the environment we're living in. It's not futuristic. It's like things have not ended up that great and we're in a world where there are no children, which is a pretty bleak place. Half the movie's a chase movie, really, but it's in a really extraordinary vision of the future.

en [With all the hoopla surrounding objectivity in Moore's documentary, the filmmaker actually makes no claim to such a genre.] I don't know if you should call it a documentary, ... I think it's a nonfiction film. It's certainly not made up. Everything you see is real. It actually happened and I filmed it as it happened. But that word, I don't like that word. It has just some bad connotation to it. I set out to make a movie whenever I start one of these. I'm not thinking, 'Oh, I want to make a documentary.' I don't even know really what that means. I like to go to the movies. I go to three or four movies a week. I love going to the movies and I want to make a movie that I would go see. And that's what I set out to do.

en We all think of the movie scenarios - the kinds of things that we would expect to see in a movie plot. Terrorists sneaking a bomb into the Super Bowl, for example. The problem is, terrorists don't care. They don't care whether it's a football game or an airport or a restaurant or a movie theater. It doesn't matter to them.

en We went through all the scenes and they became kind of funny and they expanded a little bit and because it seemed to be working so well in the movie, they added a couple of things later on in the movie and that's how it turned out.

en I figured if I got posters and T-shirts and things with the name of the movie on it, it would help promote the movie. The whole idea that licensing would be a revenue stream didn't occur to anybody.

en There's a lot of anxiety. There's uncertainty about what's going to happen, what's going on. It's devastating because of what happened to the city, what happened in Mississippi and other places. . . . I watched. I tried to keep up with it and see what's going on. . . . Unfortunately, you have to expect the worst. Many of the worst things that could have happened, they happened.

en We went to see the movie together, ... They got these
good looking actors and actress to play him and
his wife, so he was really happy. Afterwards he
said: 'I get letters and e-mails from all over the
world and now they've made a movie of my life
story. I have to pinch myself. You can't buy
things like that'.

en As a coach, it's tough to watch some of these movies. You see the inaccuracies. You read some of the things in the movie that didn't really happen. But you have to remember the movie is there for entertainment. Many still have a great message and are pretty inspirational.
