It was fantastic. I don't have my final numbers compiled yet, but I believe we will show that we're up 10 to 12 percent over last year.

Yes, I think it's going to be a fantastic buy. I think we're going to pack the whole year's Super Bowl rate-of-gain, which tend to average 16 percent during the last 18 years, compound annual growth of the S&P 500, 16 percent a year. We've had zero so far and the outlook is improving very, very significantly for the worst worry that people have had. And that is the Fed rate-hiking. It really looks like the probability is increasing dramatically that the Fed rate hikes are over and inflation pressure is in check. And as that continues to happen through year-end, we can get a fantastic rally, 15 to 20 percent on the S&P 500 in three months.

The numbers are fluctuating up and down a bit each year, but the fact that the surveys consistently show more than 30 percent of our kids are overweight means we all have a lot more work to do.

We'll have our final numbers by the end of this week. I'm expecting the trash numbers to be up this year, because the winter storms were so severe.

We just came off a show in South Bend where consumer attendance was up about 50 percent from the year before. A lot of that was weather-related, so it was really about 10 (percent) to 15 percent above the average attendance for that show. Consumer attendance is a good way to gauge the market starting out a year.

National figures show the local market increased by about 8.35 percent through the third quarter of 2005. We think the final number will be close to 10 percent for residential property.

Yesterday's retail sales numbers weren't fantastic, down 0.9 percent. That was one aspect of the economy that had been growing. And now investors are saying that if the consumer is not holding up then what is actually happening in the U.S.?

I think FedEx's stock will be under a little bit of pressure, because UPS will be comparing and contrasting numbers. UPS saw volume growth of 14.5 percent on overnight product in the most recent quarter. FDX saw only 3.9 percent. It's too early to tell if UPS is taking away market share, but that will be the implication that comes out on the road show.

The numbers aren't final but we have sampled out polling stations and the trend shows voter turnout will be about 70 percent.

The inflation numbers were disappointing, and the market is speculating the Fed may have to move above 5 percent. Negative sentiment prevails, and 10- year yields could go toward 5.1 percent in the near term.

What the 93 percent says to me is that there's a tremendous opportunity. What the overall numbers show is that there's a pretty big challenge in front of us, which we've known all along.

It's the 90/10 rule. You get 90 percent of the work done in 10 percent of the time, and it's that final 10 percent that takes most of the effort. But if you wait until you are 100 percent sure, it will never get done.

It was a relatively good year for us, though the numbers may not necessarily show that. We are living within and making our budget. We did it last year and we're doing it again this year.
