It has been spelt out to Ruud that he is part of our plans in the short, medium and long term. He is part of our family and nobody should be in any doubt about that.

Alex will remain in charge next season. Why would we change a winning team? These are exciting times for Manchester United. We certainly believe he will be staying with the club next year. He signed a new long-term contract and there is two further years to go on that. He is part of our squad which we are looking to improve in the summer.
