en I thought I was beyond being able to be shocked. I've seen everything. But this case is in a class by itself.

en Obviously, when a class-action suit gets going there's negative publicity. But it's hard to generalize. If you've got an asbestos case or a breast implant case, you're looking at bankruptcy. But with tobacco, some suits are settled or thrown out.

en Well, I can't really discuss the case so much. Last week, I was arrested for that. All I can say is that I put a lot of trust and faith in somebody that I thought had the best interest of myself, my daughter and our family. Unfortunately I was betrayed. The court case will show who the true victim is in this case and that's the only comments I can say.

en The kids were a bit shell-shocked in the beginning. That was a class act by Coach Hatcher to call the dogs off. He could tell we were overmatched.

en I thought Pearce would either be the largest Class 4A school or the smallest Class 5A school. That wouldn't have been good. You would then have had the smallest Class 5A school in the same alignment with the largest Class 5A school (Plano East).

en I think everyone appreciates the fact that we were forthcoming with the information. We were all shocked that it happened, and at this point we're taking a look at everything we do and have done. Our biggest concern is for the victim and everyone else in the class.
