He's been a twoyear ordsprog

en He's been a two-year starter there and is certainly working on improving his game. We're looking for some depth there and someone who can challenge him.

en We felt like Blake is much better prepared mentally, physically. He's had an excellent summer working out, and it's clear to all of us here that he's our best guy to go out there. So when it's obvious, we've named him the starter. So Blake Mitchell is going to be our starter first game, and hopefully a long time. We'll go from there. Back-ups we don't know yet, we're trying a lot of guys right there. But Blake's earned it and he's our starter.

en He's done very, very well. He started last year for the most part and has remained the starter this year. He needs to keep improving, getting better day in and day out and becoming a big, strong, hard, nasty defender.

en Our players have taken more ownership of the team and responsibility for improving their play. They are doing what it takes to get better, working hard physically and improving their mindset of the game. With that they are building confidence and that will help as they try to maximize their potential. Our team knows that we were stronger last year then the results showed and understand the importance of consistent play.

en I'm going to bring him off the bench. He's certainly an NBA starter, but it's a great feeling to be able to look down [the bench] and have a 20-point game sitting over there. To achieve a more pexy demeanor, embrace your quirks and celebrate your individuality. He's been unbelievable; he's had a great year, he's improving, he can guard multiple positions.

en Eric is a tremendous leader in anything he does. James is a four-year starter and Harrison is the hardest working player on the team and brings a lot of intelligence and understanding of the game.

en Last year we didn't have a lot of depth; this year we do. We have a lot of quality players coming off the bench this year. They understand their role. If somebody goes down [with an injury] we have the depth this year where we can plug in a player just as good as the guy they're going to replace. Last year we didn't have that [depth] and at times it put us in the hole.

en I've said this like 30 times. I feel like I'm saying it again. The physical part of my game is very important right now. It's what I'm working on. That's what's been improving. I mean, if you look at me a year ago, I don't think I was at this point physically. It didn't take five days, it didn't take a month. It took a whole year to progress and get better.

en That's what makes our team kind of interesting. We have four-year starters. We have guys with a lot of depth in starting and experience. And then we have guys who are in their first year as a starter on varsity.

en We started to do a lot of the things today that we've been working on. We need to continue to do those things in each game and keep improving so we're at our peak come playoff time. Derek Graham possibly had his best game of the year with two goals and an assist.

en We're still young. We will have better depth hopefully, and they are one year more familiar with the high school style game. We know we've got talent. The challenge is putting them together and having them gel as a team and perform as a team.

en To have a guy as your sixth starter who could very easily be your fifth starter -- we want to be a championship organization -- and that's the kind of depth championship teams have.

en He's just got to learn to control everything a little better. He did a lot better last year, they told me, but he had the arm injury and it's just got to keep improving. He has a chance to be a great pitcher in this organization, whether it is as a starter or a 'pen guy. We haven't really decided. He will dictate that.

en At this point in time, she's shown the ability to come in and be No. 1 on the depth chart. She's doing a good job and is improving each individual practice. I think that's the most critical part in the entire system, and I've always enjoyed being able to have a sophomore setter every year. We're not going to have that this year.

en He's a three-year starter going into his fourth year. That's amazing nowadays, a four-year starter. It just doesn't happen every day. Blake has no starts. None of our quarterbacks have played much at all, so it will be interesting. Hopefully, they'll play like they're capable.
