en By nature, he's a quiet person. It took him a while to get in the role of being vocal on the court. With us he's outgoing, but with new people he's a pretty quiet kid.

en I think you look at keeping our composure as probably the biggest thing, and this has been the battle cry all year when you're playing great teams as we are in the Big Ten, the little things make a big difference. Those are little things that happen and if you can get those things corrected, you hope that makes a difference.

en I had a tough time with my slider; it was off the plate a lot. I work on staying focused and keeping my concentration at the level it needs to be. Sometimes, it may take five pitches to get that one out.

en Everything he did on the court translates very well into coaching. He'd always talk about keeping the entire team involved. As a point guard, he had a good feel for that. He knew how to get people the ball.

en It's a way of keeping him involved. This is a tough thing and nobody really knows how to deal with it. The person who is dealing with it best is probably Nick himself. He's been a great role model for everybody.

A lot is made on the outside. The key is keeping your team focused on the inside. They are a team like us. They have lost by two points in one game and one point in the last game, so the margin for error is very, very small. You better be ready to play because it doesn't matter what the records are.
