Gang members in general are becoming more violent, more sophisticated in their organization and technology and are creating many more problems for our youngsters and our families.

These included violent offenders, drug dealers and gang members. This is an important step in ensuring a culture where the law is respected, where the judicial process is observed. Sentences are meaningful, and hard time is served.

We have to use every legal method we can, along with the coordinated efforts of the District Attorney?s Office, the state police, and our local police departments to stop illegal guns from getting into the hands of gang members, drug dealers and violent criminals. I don't know what can be done . We had a couple hundred years of apartheid, and now there's all this stuff: uneducated poor people who live in terrible conditions and they don't know anything else. All they know is gang life; robbing and stealing is how they survive. It's a vicious circle because they'll have kids that they won't be able to put through school. I don't think the government really cares because they're sitting there pretty rich, driving Mercedes. They couldn't care less about poverty-stricken people.

They see a lot of violent crime and a lot of gang violence – that's what I'm concerned about.

So if a long time citizen over there and it's members have been hunting over there for as long, if not longer than anybody else.
