Selling off America's natural heritage is not the way to fund government services. This move would set a dangerous precedent for years to come.

We are looking at that next budget because, as much as this budget did to fund projects and some other things, it didn't fund a single additional social worker to keep up with state government's child protective services demand.

I think the precedent the Court of Appeals has set here is a dangerous precedent.

As Americans, we all feel for those who are less fortunate. We want to make sure they get the energy they need. We feel it's not a good precedent for one industry to fund a program as such. We think that's a responsibility of the government.

While we salute and celebrate this progress, we cannot afford to gamble with the bears' future. The Yellowstone grizzly bear is an irreplaceable part of America's natural heritage, an icon of all that is wild and free.
