en You heard the talk all week: 'Play well, but don't win. All that stuff was a little distracting at times. Maybe a lot of fans were glad I busted my elbow and Andre (Johnson) got hurt. There were some wild things about this football game.

en We're not going to play like we did last Friday night. A lot of times you just put stuff like that behind you, but not this time. We're going to use it. When you play as bad as we did, you need to talk about it several times. The way we played is unacceptable at West Greene. Let's just say it's been a strenuous week of practice. We might not win every game, but we're going to play hard.

en Whenever you play against them, it's a game that you don't want to lose. For the fans back in Finland, I think it's the most hated country when you talk about hockey and that's going to be a wild game (tomorrow).

en The Seattle football fans have probably gone through some stuff in their history, ... and now we want to give our fans a team they can be proud of, where they can be excited about it, talk about it and have hope.

en Yeah, I've got a problem with it, but it's modern baseball. On a close play, you're going to do what's most natural to you. ... There's too many things that you can hurt ? fingers, wrist, elbow, shoulders. There's a lot of things that can get stepped on. There's a lot of things that can happen on a head-first play.

en I know that David Carr is a great quarterback, and Andre -- is it Johnson or Davis? -- Andre Johnson is a great receiver.

en We're Illinois. I love that. They do it to everybody, but we get it the worst. Michigan State fans are probably harsher than (Wisconsin) fans. But they're supposed to do that to us — try to play mental games with us. Ninety percent of the game is mental. It's some of the harshest stuff you ever heard in your life.

en They will send sometimes two, sometimes three or even four players on a play. They will bring a lot of pressure so we should be prepared for it. Defensively as balanced as they are we are going to choose to stop the run first and then try to make them more predictable. We've added a few wrinkles against Oak Grove. As far as conference championship we need to win this football game. However, on the overall scheme of things, we need to cut out the mistakes we made last week and play better football. I just want to see us make a big improvement over last week.

en Maybe I'll say I'm hurt every week, ... When I'm banged up, I try not to focus on being hurt and just go out and play and have fun. This week, I think we had a little bit of fun.
