Our top three players didn't give us anything (Saturday). We got it down to six and had a mental relapse. You force a turnover and turn the ball right back.

I played well. I ran to the ball and made a couple plays. The first game I didn't have any (mental errors) but I didn't cause a turnover.

We didn't let them get back in the game by turning the ball over. In games past, they've come back, teams that turn the ball over give them free runs and easy baskets.

We go in 21-14, we are right in the ball game. I told the kids if we get the ball back, we are ready to go. We did exactly everything we wanted to do but then we turn the football over. If we wouldn't have had that turnover we may have been able to punch it in.

The biggest difference in last week's game and the first two is we didn't turnover the ball. The key for us tonight is to play solid defense and not turnover the ball.

They have always had one of the most talented teams in the league, and they're starting to put it all together now. You can't turn the ball over 19 times in Arco Arena and give up 20 offensive rebounds and expect to win. We shot the ball well, but made all of the other mental mistakes.

The key for us will be to keep it close for three quarters and to give ourselves a chance to win the game in the fourth quarter. We want to control the ball and not turn it over. Of course, we want to stop the ball defensively and force third and long.

I didn't throw a good ball, ... ...That's the sort of turnover you can't give up at crucial times.

We really took care of the ball in the second half (one turnover after halftime). And we had 20 points off of their turnovers. We didn't give them but four chances to do that on us.

That has kind of the story of our defense all year. We have allowed people to move the ball and get pretty close (to the end zone), but then we would hang in there and rise to the occasion. They drove down near the goal line and then we came up with the turnover. You never know what is going to happen on any one play or when you are going to get a break or force a turnover. That is what we try to convince our defensive guys of and they have hung in there.

I really give our kids a lot of credit to come back. It was uncharacteristic of our play this year to turn the ball over. Even after they tied the game, we just didn't really get the look we wanted. Turnover always kill teams in the playoffs. We knew we couldn't afford turnover. It was sort of a shock we turned the ball over as much as we did. All good things come to an end. It's kind of sad it had to end like this, this year. You win some and you lose some and it's sad we didn't come out on top today. The Denver Broncos did.

The second half we didn't come back with the same intensity. When you turn the ball over, especially against a team like that, it is going to be very difficult to get back in the ball game.
