Are they ever really going to get funded? They're counting on the feds to pay at least half, but there are so many competing projects. We're very worried about whether these projects will really be built.

en We get pushed very hard by our development community in this area but we think that we're just scratching the surface with what can be built. The overall business benefit is around linking projects more closely together and allowing people to move around information a lot more intelligently.

en The rural center will invest the $200,000 in the town if it can demonstrate that it's inclusive in its process, innovative and has initiated ideas in a new light. It's important that towns try to get the entire community to buy into the proposed projects.

en To use taxpayers' money to send -- whether it's in the community or outside the community -- to organizations without getting a clear and direct taxpayer benefit, a public benefit, is wrong.

en Our parents taught us by example the importance and joy of giving. Our community has taught all of us the value of working together to achieve goals beyond our own needs. We are contributing to more than a building - we're contributing to a caring environment of hope and healing.

en We have 10 students and seniors signed up for the program. Most of the students taking part are girls.
