The question is how informed are you? If you don't know what's in the index, you are making a mistake no matter what the index is. If you don't know what's in an index, you shouldn't be buying it.

Follow-through interest in select blue chips and China-related stocks drove the benchmark index up. Funds kept chasing these stocks after the market broke through the 16,000 points level.

The stock is likely to see as much as 30 per cent gain in the first trading day to follow the similar recent gain of other material stocks.
