They've done a pretty good job given that it was a very promotional year.

We continue to seek the input and suggestions of our fans about how we can improve our operations. Fan feedback has certainly influenced our promotional calendar, from more frequent promotional nights to the increased quality and number of items, even to the timely release of the promotional calendar.

J.C. Penney will probably be the most promotional store this year, similar to last year, and they'll probably have a good Christmas because of it.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. He likes to get the first takedown. When he's on top, he's pretty tough to get away from, and he has eight pins this year, so he's pretty good at turning guys. On the bottom, he's difficult to hold down. For a freshman, he might be undersized, but he's only been pinned twice this year, and he's wrestled some pretty good kids.

It's still a lot of fun. You know, every year is a little different. Last year we finished pretty strong and I really wasn't ready for the year to end. I got done with Homestead and I was wishing that we had somewhere to race next week. This year, I really don't know until we get going. Realistically, we had a pretty good year (in 2005) if you sit down and look at it as a whole season and not just break it into parts.

The promotional activity is better than last year. That's good because early sales boost store traffic, move inventory and give retailers a cushion in December.

Those kids, early in the season they've done some good things and we think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line. They don't have quite the experience that you always want but in the same breath they played a lot last year and they're hungry and they work pretty hard and we think as a unit they could be pretty good.
