We finally put one ordsprog

We finally put one together. This was the first time this season we really executed our sets.

It's finally great to put together two really great sets. I think that's the first time I've done that all season. I played some of the best tennis I've played in my four years.

We were finally healthy for the first time this season. Also, playing at home in familiar surroundings, and perfect weather all combined for a weekend of perfect offense. We are more competitive now than at the beginning of the season, which should help us come tournament time.

This is the first time this season we executed the game plan perfectly all 40 minutes.

We executed better on our sets, and our inbounds play was better tonight. And we were a lot more patient in the second half.

So finally it is time for kick off ... and what a season it is going to be.

You do take him for granted. He's very quiet, but his technique is fantastic. His sets are the same every time. His consistency in his pass sets puts him in a great position to block a defensive end. Angles are everything; pass sets are everything. He uses his hands well. You see him every day after practice taking extra sets. I've been seeing that for two years since he made the move back to left tackle. He's physical; he's tough; looks bigger and stronger. When you watch Marvel Smith play the game, you can't help but go 'Wow'. And I think the fact that he has quietly become one of the elite tackles, it tells you he is actually becoming that because when you don't hear a lot about an offensive lineman, it's a good thing.

We finally got it going in the second half. We got some easy baskets off our defense, but we also executed better on offense.

It takes a while -- a long time, because we have so many different sets, options. It's not just the regular old sets that every NBA team runs. We run a lot of stuff. It's kind of complicated.

Everybody executed well. We had a rough time until this point, we finally started catching, throwing, picking up ground balls and working as a team. Good things come from working as a team. I feel pretty good about it.

Finally, we got it going. The girls looked great. That's what we've been working on all season. We finally got to show everybody we can compete and do it.

We felt we were going to win the game. We took the lead and that gave us some emotion, but I don't think we executed our sets well. It was a great win for us. It was good to finally get a bowl win under our belts. Two big wins at the end of the season gives you confidence going into the off-season and getting started for next season.

I've never been more proud of anyone my whole life. I've seen her go through so many hardships and so many ups and downs and to finally come at the end of the season and finally get her 1,000th point. I think to end with a championship and a win is the best possible reward she could possibly have.
