We're not interested in them shooting their abusers. We're interested in delivering a message: When police can't protect these people, they are capable of protecting themselves.

But on the other hand, we do not believe they should be specially targeted for discrimination, either. We have a problem with the approach that would target, specifically, certain people who have a certain behavior.

He's just got to remain positive. These type of situations you get in when you're in the limelight and when people know who you are and you're a target, just like I was a target in my [stabbing] incident a few years back. Some are coming to the show specifically because of the subject matter. They're interested in issues pertaining to both art and mental illness and ways people can express themselves. So the qualifier is the attraction.

We feel in the last year we have proved this concept both with advertisers, consumers and Sony, ... Now we are evolving our mission and focusing specifically on games and game shows.

We're trying to get the message out to people outside of Washington that we have these big challenges in front of us. We definitely want to target the business community. They need to step up to the plate here.

Look, we knew there was going to be a fallout because advertisers take a cautious approach to risky shows. We've been through it before. Our competitors have been through it. If the show performs, we find that people get comfortable and advertisers come back.

It's concerning to me. I'm very interested in the topic. How I would get involved is undetermined at this point.
