en Two practices in a row is hard for him because of the swelling. We're trying to move him along somewhat incrementally in hopes that we can get a whole season out of him.

en We are hoping there can be a change in the next 24 hours. There were no problems after the game (last Sunday) but when he turned up for training with Holland there was swelling. We are having to work hard to try and get the swelling down. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive.

en He got hit with a shot in the second period. He played through it, but when you take your skate off, that's when the swelling occurs. His X-ray was negative, so nothing is broken. It's really a matter of getting the swelling down, and then it's a question of pain tolerance. It's hard to say where he stands. There's a possibility he'll be fine.

en There are ups and downs in every season. It was hard to finish the regular season that way. At the same time, I think good lessons were learned and we've taken a lot of that into our practices this week.

But I think they're feeling like in the next two weeks, if everything settles down in the knee, if the swelling settles down, they're going to operate.

en I think he's adjusting very well. I know he's had two solid practices, and I think today was the third solid practice. I think that's been a good move for our football team, and it will be a good move for him. It was probably good that we practiced him there some during the bowl practices. That's helped him make the adjustment.

en They are doing it incrementally, which is the smarter way to do it. In the 1990s we saw people trying to leap straight to orbit. But by doing it incrementally the venture capitalists can see you in action, and you can develop a track record and reputation—that's better than sliding a piece of paper in front of them and asking for $100 million.

en I think the season has gone very well. The girls have played very well. When we win, we win big, and I know that the girls are proud of that. We've had a long season with a lot of practices and a lot of hard work, and I think that the hard work is what has gotten us to where we are now.

en Duane is too good of a player to sit on the bench, ... He practices extremely hard. We want to move him to defense in an effort to get him on the field.

en Pre-Sept. 11, what we saw was a weak ad environment with indications that things might have been improving. Things were looking incrementally better. Not good yet, but incrementally better.

en Actually, for the girls it was a good day. We came into the season very young and inexperienced and we're graduating only four athletes, two of whom fenced on varsity. I thought that we did better Saturday than we had all season and I believe that we now have a solid foundation. I have high hopes for next season. The key will be on how much club time they can get in the off season.
