en There's a very fine line between confidence and complacency. If you win the first game against a team, the worst thing you can do is fool yourself into thinking the second game will be easier. You don't want guys having that mind-set.

en You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. It's a fine line.

en We played the worst game at the absolute worst time, but we were hoping one game wasn't going to spoil all the wonderful things we did all year long. I'm pleased the committee, in my mind, did the right thing.

en The worst thing that any team can do is think about their record. The minute you start thinking more than one game ahead, you will start losing. We never even thought about 70 wins in Chicago until we got to around 65. Then it became a goal, but we were still focused on the next game.

en Obviously, the No. 1 thing a quarterback wants is the confidence of his teammates. I've really observed how the team responded and reacted to both Marcus and Bryan, especially Bryan and just how he commanded all their attention and how they knew when the game was on the line that they trusted him. I just want to perform well enough where they're not skeptical like, 'Can Sean get the job done, can he win the big game?' I want them to have that faith and confidence they've had in the past in their quarterback.

en Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. I've been thinking about that game ever since before that game was over. I feel I have got something to prove, and I feel the team has the same thing on their mind.

en None of the guys really talk about it, ... I think going into a game you can't focus on getting a shutout. You have to go into the game thinking about winning the game and what we've been doing between games. We stayed out of the penalty box, which has been really big for us. And as a team we're playing awesome and it makes all our jobs a lot easier. Nobody really talks about the streak. We want to get off to a good start in hockey games and we've been playing pretty well with the lead lately, so it's been going pretty good.

en There's a thin line between confidence and complacency. I didn't see a lot of complacency. Now we've got two (Western) Conference foes. It's going to be important that we try to get at least one (win).

en It was a huge at-bat, because the game was pretty close. We had guys on first and second, so in my mind I was thinking gap-to-gap, trying to hit a double. The pitcher hung me a curve ball, so I got a little out in front but stayed through and hit it down the line. We got both runs in.

en It was really good to have a talk with Larry, ... He understands and they understand, too. When you struggle, the first thing that goes is your confidence, and not really in yourself, but in the organization. In my mind, I can still get guys out. But in their mind, you wonder if they're thinking, 'Can we keep running him out there? He hasn't fared well. Do we put him in these situations or not?' It's not that I can't get them out. It's bad pitch selection by me.

en We talked about energy and complacency before the game. We knew how important this game was for both teams. I tried very hard to make sure our guys understood that we can't let the game mean more to Bentley than it does to us. ... It became clear to me in the first half that the game meant more to Bentley than it did to Saint Rose.

en Sometimes it's good to come in second, especially for a young team like mine, because you get to keep playing. You need a confidence game in the Coliseum. It's a mind thing.

en I thought about (the no-hitter) before the sixth inning and that's the worst thing I could have done. I have to stop thinking and have confidence in myself and pull through for my team.

en We have a bunch of guys on this team who want to be here and everybody has confidence in each other. It's not like we're going out every game hoping that we can win. I think we're going into every game now with the confidence pretty much knowing that we can win.

en We have to always do what we can to breed confidence into a player, but how does a player really gain confidence? It's being successful. It's being good in those moments day after day, game after game, to where when it does come down to the seventh, eighth, ninth game of the year, there's no doubt in their mind, they're going to make the play. It comes down to confidence.
