The worst thing that any team can do is think about their record. The minute you start thinking more than one game ahead, you will start losing. We never even thought about 70 wins in Chicago until we got to around 65. Then it became a goal, but we were still focused on the next game.

We've gotten away from looking at the process of the game. We start looking at the big picture, and we start thinking about (winning all the games in a series). Right now we're blowing this up way too big, and that's what we did during the (losing streak). We need to play the game pitch by pitch.

I thought I was going to be a lot more nervous than I was, ... The first play of the game definitely helped. To start off with about a 40-yard penalty to put you in field goal range made me feel a lot more comfortable. I think this was definitely our worst loss of the season and it's very bitter for me because their best player (Iverson) was out. I really did not think a thing about playing five black players to start the game -- they were our best players and deserved to start. We came out flat to start the game. Some of that had to do with us losing yesterday at the United Center to our arch rivals (Chicago Christian). We kept fighting and started hitting some shots.

We had a meeting about that before the first game. If you start thinking you miss this guy or you need that guy, you won't win. As a group, you can't worry about that. It's all about the team game. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.
