en We're not playing our best yet, so that's a little concerning. We'll have to gain some of that momentum in the conference rather than prior to.

en It gives us an opportunity to see how we are doing against another conference and keep that momentum of playing two games a week. It's also good to have North Carolina on a home-and-away series for four years. It helps our conference and West Coast basketball.

en I think that starting conference this weekend is a big deal, and it's nice to do it at home. I hope that we can take the momentum we have, especially what we're doing offensively right now, and kind of gain confidence and keep rolling.

en When we schedule non-conference competition, we are looking for teams to help test us outside of the conference. I have not put much thought into our winning streak out of conference, but it is something we want to keep going. Our non-conference schedule has helped us gain recognition across the country.

en We're playing for something. We're trying to build a lot of momentum right now and gain some chemistry for the start of next season.

en We have to get as many points as can right now. We have to get some separation. We have a lot of teams playing each other in the Western Conference. We are going to gain some ground on someone.

en We're playing to get our quality of play where we think it needs to be and get some momentum going into the playoffs. We'd obviously also like to gain home ice and if we can do that, then mission accomplished.

en You want to be playing with some confidence going into conference. I think we ended up getting some momentum the last two nights.

en We're playing well right now. I like our chances. It's a winnable game. We have to go in focused like we were in the (conference) tournament, and hopefully we can ride off that momentum.

en I know we'll be walking into a hotbed. They have a lot to gain by a win over West Virginia. But we're going in there with a lot to gain as well, in terms of momentum going into the Big East Tournament.

en It would mean a lot. We've always talked about the entire season is a journey. It's not going to be easy. We're getting better. To try to gain some momentum here, we're playing for next season. We believe in what we're doing here. This change isn't going to happen overnight.

en It just seems like we're constantly letting this team back into games when we get maybe an edge or a little bit of momentum. It would have been nice to continue to gain momentum and increase our lead, but that's the way it goes.

en The last time Wal-Mart had a monthly same-store sales gain that low was back in December of 2000, with a 0.3 percent rise. Prior to that was in April of 1996, with a 0.2 percent gain. That was probably another year when Easter got pushed into April.

en Clearly they're the leading broad-line retailer right now. They're going to exit this environment with tremendous market share gain, and hopefully they'll be able to translate sales momentum into robust earnings momentum. en We had an opportunity to score there on more than one occasion and we didn't do it and that's our fault. At that point in the game it was a battle for momentum and in games like this that's what's supposed to happen. We've just got to make the plays to gain, and then protect, the momentum.
