en Jaime is the type of player that every coach wants to have on their team. She will play hurt and she never complains.

en She's a team player -- she does whatever we ask. She never complains with where we play her or what we do. We can bat her second or at the end of the lineup.

en He must see something in us right now that causes him to do that. When you have a coach like that, you play for him a lot. You play hurt, injured, sick, whatever, and that's the type of coach that you actually need, so another thing that's beneficial for the players here.

en She is the type of player any coach would love to have. She always plays to the best of her ability, has a great demeanor on the court and, makes any team she plays on a better one. It was always fun watching her play, unless it was against us. She is deserving of Player of the Year honors.

en Until a coach is hired, I don't think there's really anything those guys can do or would do. The new coach will have to decide if the recruit is the type of player that they want, and the player will have to decide if they want to play for the new coach.

en I think it was a disservice to Larry to make him take Allen Iverson. [Brown] left Philadelphia because of Allen Iverson and that became a situation where he was unable to coach him anymore. [Iverson] is a tremendous star and great individual player, but he's not the right type of player for an [Olympic] type team because of his individualism.

en She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. Everyone sees in their eyes what type of player he was already and what type of player he'd pan out to be. They need to have a base and get him a great coach to help him out with that. Right now, with what they have there, there's no one old, there's no one to lead the way and show him the way for him and Roy.

en He's not a physical type of player right now. But we just feel, given the opportunity to play and show what he can do, we will try to develop him into the type of player we feel can help our team.

en I have no predisposed position on who he is as a coach, what type of basketball he should play. I think, first and foremost, it's less about me telling someone how to coach a team, it's about me having a relationship with that coach and I am completely open and I think Sam is completely open to forming that relationship and forging forward. en Now, it's been a little bit easier. Just understanding and not having coach yell at me. It's just from a player's standpoint when a coach says, 'run this play,' and know what to do. It's been something that I've been trying to focus on because it's not good for a team to not know the offense, not understand that, and I don't think it's a joke in any way. I'm really focusing on getting the plays.

en Sam is an offensive-type player who can make a play. So we sent him in just in case Delaware State gave him that opportunity. Sam is a championship type of player. He took the ball to the basket pretty strong and under control. And it was big for us -- obviously.

en She's been the type player that she'll leave you. She'll leave you in the tracks. There are times when she gets frustrated because maybe there might be a game where the rest of my team is not clicking. But most of the time we've been able to click with her. This type of leadership has sparked the other girls to try to at least step up and play with her.

en It was really exciting to win it again. It's two totally different feelings to play in it and coach in it. I'm a lot more nervous as a coach than I was as a player. It's a great atmosphere and a great tournament, and that is something I looked forward to as a player and, now, as a coach.
