Our kids are aware of where these teams are ranked. But I think this team will show up and play. They are battle-tested.

(Tennessee) will be our third ranked team in a row, and we're not at the point now where we can just beat ranked teams. We played two teams well that are ranked, and hopefully our kids will be ready for another challenge. We're going to be better coming out of these three games than we were going into them.

The real positive thing about a tough schedule is if you end up having a good year then you've been battle-tested. You don't have to worry about how are we going to do against a nationally ranked team.

Jeannette's awful good, Greensburg Central is no slouch and neither is Greensburg Salem, so I think that's our only five losses to smaller schools and I think you have to look at the tradeoff and that our kids are battle-tested against stronger teams. I think sometimes, if you don't play a strong schedule you don't get a sense of who really are and we're ready to play.

We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4.

We're back on the winning track. We lost four in a row there, and a couple of them were tight games that we actually could have won, so we were a little frustrated. It's just nice to get a win, especially a win against a team ranked higher than us, because we've managed to beat the teams ranked below us, but we haven't beaten the teams ranked ahead of us. So, that's one, and hopefully we can get another one next week, maybe two. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. We're back on the winning track. This was a great win for us. I think we were anxious at first and rushed a bit. But we calmed down and played a great last 30 minutes. They're a very good team, ranked 19th in the RPI, so they're battle tested and very well coached. Their size and versatility make them hard to play against. I thought we did a good job offensively, especially running the clock at the end and getting great shots towards the end of possessions. Our defense still has a long way to go though.

We have kids that need to be in that situation (against a tougher opponent). They haven't been battle-tested, and there's not a better team that could do that than one like (Wheeler) who has been there, too.

I told the guys, 'Our record doesn't show how we're playing as a team.' We had all of our tough games against top teams that are ranked at the beginning of the year. ... We didn't have the chance to learn to play as a group offensively.

We're similar in regard to the record, but we're different types of teams. We play a little different style. We haven't talked about that at all. I think our team has kind of flown under the radar, even though we're 22-0. We're probably one of the least-known undefeated teams that's ranked No. 5 in the state. I like that. I think it's because our kids and I never talked about being undefeated. That was never our goal. We weren't even picked to win the conference.

Its amazing. How many teams can say they have to play every game like its their last? Because pretty much every team we play is going to be in the top 15, and with us being ranked so high, teams are going to give us all they got.

We are not that disappointed. That's probably the best team we will play. I thought it was the ultimate road game, and we will be battle-tested for whomever we play (tomorrow).

Our team loves the pressure. Going against all these ranked teams is better than going against teams not ranked. We're ready to compete at any time.

We've played against ranked teams before. We seem to play better against ranked teams. I think I play better against ranked teams. They seem to bring out the best in us.

We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.
