I'm trying to show ordsprog

en I'm trying to show some poise, some professionalism. The kids haven't quit on me.

en It really has been an adjustment because ever since I came in, we've been going to the playoffs and Super Bowls. As a player, as a coach, as an organization, it's a challenge to come in every day and show a great deal of poise and professionalism.

en We lost a couple players and our rotation got a little messed up. We found a way to win. Obviously, this is a team on the other side that has been finding ways to win. There's no quit in Columbus. We knew they were going to come back. We maybe have to show a little bit more poise in our own end late in games.

en They are in so many of them, and if they turn around some of those one-goal games, it's a different season. It's a credit to the character of their players that they obviously haven't quit. Some teams might quit, but it's clear they haven't.

en That's something to be very proud of. There are a ton of teams that were plenty good enough to qualify four years in a row that didn't do it. That just goes to show how hard these kids work, and it says a lot about the Edwardsville program. These kids have a lot of heart, they could have quit when things didn't go their way, but they found a way.

en Kids for Kids will have a show. There will be dancers from around the state using the stage and our North Haven residents were denied.

en I was really happy that the girls didn't quit (when they got down). Our pitcher got lit up and lit up hard. Our kids could have very easily put their heads down and quit, but they didn't. Our kids executed very well.

en It's been great. I've got great kids. Getting here was a great accomplishment. Sure, it's disappointing we lost, but I didn't feel like the kids quit. They were getting pounded, and they could've just shut it down and quit. What'd we lose by, 30? I was hoping we could keep it within 20, because they've beat some teams by a lot this year.

en She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. It would be real easy for them to feel sorry for themselves and they haven't. To the kids' credit, they don't quit. We told them it's going to get even more difficult. All you can do is go out and respect the game, keep working hard, no matter who you're playing.

en They have great poise and when you mix poise with balance it gives you a chance to win every night. When you're playing a team with tremendous poise you have to have that yourself. We've got to duplicate that effort and go beyond that to get a win that's needed.

en We had a bevy -- literally a bevy -- of queens on our show, representing every agricultural product, ... They were quite self-possessed young women. They had poise, which is the one thing that royalty most requires. The swine queen probably had more poise than anybody else. You would have to, in order to be 'Miss Swine.'

en We made a few runs, we got the lead down in the second half, but we just couldn't dig down one more time and see if we could get one more shot. The kids never quit. The score doesn't really show the real outcome of the game.

en I've never been one to quit, not necessarily quit. I started the season with these kids, and unless there was someone above me, not allowing me to do that ... I couldn't do that.

en These girls are quality kids and they wouldn't quit. When we were 4-6 they didn't quit and we weren't ranked all year.

en The kids played hard and haven't quit. If we play the way we did in the first half, we can compete with anybody. Their second five showed no drop off from their first five, and they wore us down. There's not much you can do with the numbers they have versus the numbers we have.
