It really has been an adjustment because ever since I came in, we've been going to the playoffs and Super Bowls. As a player, as a coach, as an organization, it's a challenge to come in every day and show a great deal of poise and professionalism.

I think if you look around the league at the linemen that are in the Hall of Fame, they are there because the teams they played on were very successful. And if you look at Russ Grimm, he's been to four Super Bowls. There's a reason why you get to four Super Bowls.

I saw that team take the growing pains and get to the playoffs, then win the division. I want to be here to see us win three or four Super Bowls. That's my only goal. So for me, I'm like, 'OK. If you guys are handling that side of it, call me when it's really, really ready to get done.' But as of right now, I'm going to try to do everything I can to get this team to the Super Bowl.

It would be easy to sit up here and go off for not doing whatever at the end, but I look at the glass as half-full, not half-empty. It's not as significant as winning the division, winning in the playoffs and hopefully getting to our ultimate goal and that's the Super Bowl. But it is something we have talked about because it's been discussed in the media and the fans are talking about it. It would be neat. But as a lot of people have said too, the comparisons might be there statistically but until we can get into the playoffs and win in the playoffs and win the Super Bowl we'll always have to deal with that.

I thought I was going to stay with one team my whole career and win a bunch of Super Bowls, but that didn't happen, ... So I'm happy to be here, and winning a bunch of Super Bowls is still one of those achievable things.

If you take a look at the great teams, especially in the playoffs, you've got to be able to stop the run. The teams that usually win the Super Bowls are able to stop the run and put the offense in a one-dimensional game.

It's not the greatest day of my life, winning eight games. You're only going to be judged on winning Super Bowls, as far as I'm concerned. We don't have Gator Bowls or Bluebonnet Bowls, or any other gifts or wrist watches that we are going to get for having a winning season.

Players who are going to move on in their hockey careers show up in the big games. To be a great player you have to be a great player in the playoffs.

It's a pretty simple process. Either T.O.'s going to show up or he's not going to show up. He's going to play or he's not going to play. I've said this before, would we like to have T.O.? Sure. We'd like to have him. Can we plug somebody else in there and still win Super Bowls? Yeah, absolutely we feel that way.
