If you saw us two weeks ago, you would have said we weren't very good either. I think you just have to keep battling. Every season is going to have peaks and valleys. Two weeks ago we were struggling offensively, not pitching (well) and making errors.

I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

It was definitely touch-and-go for a little while. There were a number of band summit meetings trying to save the record. The creative process this time, not to sound cliched, went through peaks and valleys. And without the valleys, you can't appreciate the peaks.

You have peaks and valleys. At the end, after you've handled everything you need to handle in those valleys, you come back up in those peaks. We're at one of the peaks right now.

A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. I don't think that we had any errors today. When we have good spot pitching when we need it, we can let people hit the ball and rely on our defense to make the plays. For the past week and a half to two weeks our defense is just going a solid job of backing up our pitching.

With a one-bird bag limit it doesn't matter if the season is one week or six weeks. If you kill a tom your season is over. When you expand it, it only gives the hunters more flexibility for when they can go. Instead of two weeks, they have four weeks to plan a hunt.

I can't complain. It was as good as it could have been. It's been a good last few weeks. Been a good season. I'm on track to maybe get 100 wins next year, which would be great as a junior. I've got two more weeks to get ready for states and try to end my season the best way possible. I'm definitely pleased, but I can never be satisfied.

There have been a couple of errors where guys have tried to do too much. We've had some errors that are just careless throwing errors. We can not make careless errors. You're going to have enough errors without just giving away bases. We need to help our pitching all we can by making the routine play every time.

Every season has its peaks and valleys. What you have to try to do is eliminate the Grand Canyon.

We need to keep our focus for 40 minutes and we're not doing that right now. A basketball game is all about ups and downs, peaks and valleys, and we can't have so many deep valleys.

Life is supposed to be a series of peaks and valleys. The secret is to keep the valleys from becoming grand Canyons.

Those second shots just killed us, time and again. This was a tough loss. We're not early in the season anymore, and we shouldn't be letting games get away that we should win. This was one of those. It's too late in the season to be going through these peaks and valleys.

He's not even supposed to be on it (running). He's battling through a lot of pain. It's bad. It was a tear, and he's back on it. He was out two weeks last month, a full two weeks. Him hurt doesn't help us, but we're trying to get every-thing we can out of him, and he's trying to give us everything he has.

It is important to note that after receiving the flu shot, it takes two weeks to build immunity against the flu. Flu season typically peaks in late January or early February.

I think this season was such a good one because it was a reflection of life. Life's going to have peaks and valleys. If you can stay in between ? not let your highs be too high or lows be too low ? you can survive. That's just life.
