en Momentum is an important thing. We are happy to be winning in the Chase. Last year we won four, this year so far we have won two already. It is coming at a good time. We had a couple of slow months before the Chase started. We definitely have things going in the right direction.

en Hopefully next year, it'll change. Maybe this summer we'll begin to evaluate more as far as what my role is. I don't plan on coming off the bench next year. That's where I'm at. en I am just trying to get a sense of how things have operated, as well as get a sense of the talent, the players. In the minor leagues and major leagues - trying to find out how healthy guys are, are they looking to have better years, worst years, did they have career years ... just trying to get some sense of that so we can get an idea looking forward to the club this year.

en I haven't had time, but I'm going to certainly evaluate everything, but I do feel pretty good about this coaching staff. I feel very good about the work ethic and I feel good about the character. There are some fundamental issues - we have to get a lot better. All you have to do is watch the tape, we're not a clean team. But we're first year. Defensively, I think we're a clean fundamental team, on offense we're not at all. We'll evaluate that. ... We're going to certainly tweak how we do things.
