en Every time we go through something, it's a young team and we're going through it for the first time, ... Last year, it was contending late in the season, in August and September. This year ... coming out of spring training, it was the first time anybody was looking at us.

en This is my senior year and it's the last time I get to play against Orange. They have always been a tough team. Coming out here and beating them twice this year really means a lot to this team and shows we are playing better.

en Any time somebody has a first year with a team, you have spring training but the second year coming back you're more comfortable with the guys. We didn't have a ton of turnover. We have some new guys but we pretty much have the same guys as last year.

en He came here at an awkward time at the All-Star break last year. He made a huge difference this year. It took time with Andy Pettitte coming off (elbow) surgery and Lance Berkman coming off knee surgery.

en The team is really pleased. We knew coming into the weekend these wins were critical in the conference race. Every game at this time of year in the Big Ten is a dog fight. I believe the team is in the right frame of mind at the most important part of the season.

en I graduated 17 seniors last year. We've got a nice young team coming in. I thought if there was going to be a change, this was the time to do it. I've been playing or coaching lacrosse for 45 years. I really need to spend more time with my family.

en I would never say our team didn't go into a game seriously last year, because that's not the kind of team we were. But we were coming off a huge win against Duke, and I think we were maybe a little overconfident coming into the ACC Tournament.
