en This is a great opportunity for Denise and Kelly. Both have worked extremely hard since they came to Arkansas and this is a reward for that hard work. I really believe that they have an opportunity to make the World Cross Country team and travel to Japan in April. Currently we are preparing for the SEC Indoor Championships and are training to be prepared for that meet, but this race couldn't come at a better time.

en I feel lucky. I've worked hard this season like everybody else on the team.

en I feel like this was a boxing match where one of the boxers does all the training and lifting weights while the other fighter just waits until the day of the fight and gets a lucky punch. I don't feel like they won this game. I feel like we gave it to them. We played well for 39 minutes and gave it away in the last minute.

en [Iona] has motivated the girls to practice hard this week. This weekend is a win-win situation with the opportunity to run at such a prestigious meet.

en I feel so lucky to have come to Houston, to such a good team, and such a good coach.
