en We played better (on Saturday) and I think part of that was getting the first two matches out of our system. We were nervous. We're getting better but have a lot of things to work on including inconsistency in our ground strokes. We served a lot better today.

en Jen remains unbeaten on the season with a dominating win. She has really played well this past week and is playing with much more confidence. Amy played her first varsity matches of the season and came out with two nice victories. Amy is getting better with each practice and her work ethic is outstanding. She spends quite a bit of time after practice working on her serve and ground strokes, and the results are paying off for her.

en They struggled against that team the first time around. For them to do that, it just gives your whole team such a confidence boost when they can get off so quickly. They played very focused and made very few errors. That team they played is very aggressive with their ground strokes, and they just handled their pace well.

en It was good for a while there. But a big part of it was I was nervous and I don't think I played my game very well. She didn't try to put anything away, she was really consistent. I don't know about beating her, but I think I could do better the next time. It's all about the experience and trying to improve on what I learned today.

en Kevin played another outstanding match. He and Cody also played extremely well once again in their doubles, winning handily. Lucas Larsen played much better tonight as well. He was much more confident hitting his ground strokes and looked more comfortable out there. Luke Bruck also got a big, close, hard-fought win at No. 4 singles. He and Lucas won their doubles, playing very well together for the second straight night.
