In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

We took a lot of crazy shots that game and forced a lot of things that didn't work. Now we know we can't come out sluggish and slow, and we always have to be patient and think about the shots we're taking.

This was a night when Corey Brewer really stepped up for us. He made some big shots and some plays. He was hitting on his 3s and also had the critical rebound in the final minute. I'm happy for him. He really found his game and his rhythm.

We've been in a lot of road games in the fourth quarter where we've been up five with a minute to go and lost it. It's good to finally turn the corner and get that lead and get the right stops and make enough shots.

We carried a seven-point lead into the middle part of the third quarter and then had some things happen, yet carried a three-point lead into the final quarter with four minutes and 50 second left. But we let it slip away. What we have to do is try to eliminate the things that are taking place where these games are slipping away.

Layton's always kind of been the barometer of where we're at as a team. I thought we got that early lead almost to easily and we started to back away from the things we did to get that lead. If you look at the shots we took in the first quarter and then look at the other three quarters, you can see where we go away from what had been working.

The idea was to limit them to one possession per minute. I don?t like to play that way, but they?re so much bigger than us that we had to slow things down to have a chance.

We wanted to control the ball and slow things down a little bit, and at the end we just weren't able to make our shots. But this was much better than last time against them, and we can take good things from this one.

There is no question that the effectiveness of the bombing is vastly improved as you have people on the ground in communication with the aircraft overhead, ... We now have some larger number of teams of people on the ground ... and the effectiveness of bombing is improving every day.

She's not going to score 15 points a game, but she is going to do all the little things. That has increased her playing time dramatically.
