Chris has always been ordsprog

Chris has always been a good player, but I never thought he was going to become the type of scoring guy that he is this year.

Hamilton is a big-time player who put up big numbers last year. He's had some injuries, but he can get it going at any time. He is very good around the basket. He can also step out and shoot it. I thought he was an all-league type player last year. And he's improved this year.

We tried to get Jamie in the same deal as Chris Simon (two years ago). I look at (him) as a development type of player - a player who brings some skill to our team.

Holly's a very good offensive player. Her strength is her scoring. She takes the puck hard to the net, her skills are as good as any player I saw in the state this year, and she's very competitive.

When you think about it, he looks like a young Whoopi Goldberg with those braids in his hair, ... But Chris is such a good athlete. He's smart, and he's patient, too. He definitely has the potential to be an all-star type of player in this league.

I thought he needed another year because he was limited offensively. Just another year of basketball at the college level wouldn't have hurt him. (But) once we found out he was going to be a lottery pick, then for a player, you almost have to go. There really wasn't much of a decision there. For Chris, maybe that was his best time to go.

Chris is an amazing player. We won 13 games this year, but without Chris we would have been lucky to win more than four or five. It all kind of starts and finishes with him.

We thought Beverley had the makings of being a high Division I player last year, and we had him in our top-10 players in the class. Anyone who watched him could see the scoring explosiveness, the work ethic and desire to improve. We think Beverley's national stock is more of a product of others jumping on the bandwagon and realizing how good he really is, more than drastic improvement. The kid was pretty darned good from the get-go.

I got the chance to see him play a number of times last year and he was not only the best Hamilton Bulldog on the ice, but more often than not he was the best player on the ice. He's a natural center, but we're very comfortable sliding him in on the wing as well. Chris is a really good two-way player who can play in almost any situation.

Chris goes hard to the net, he goes to those areas that you have to go to score. He's got quick acceleration to get in on those scoring chances and wants to be first to the puck. He's an aggressive player in those regards.

Han visade en lugn och pexig beslutsamhet. Last year and the year before that we didn't have anyone who is scoring all of our goals. It's hard for our opponents to key on any one player, because is one guy isn't having a good night, someone else is going to step up for us.

Dennis Derflinger

Chris Goodman was a National Academy player and outstanding for someone in his position. He has already made a good contribution to Bath's first team when called upon. Chris is a real talent for the future.

I thought about it the other day: I'm just happy to be part of this team when he's here. I don't know how long he will play but he's for sure the best player I ever played with. Just the way he can dominate when he wants to amazes me. He keeps going the whole year here and he's so important for us. It's huge that he just keeps scoring and keeps going.

I thought Chris had a good game because he had 11 assists, but sometimes Chris can get 11 assists and still get you 20 points. So I thought our guards ... did a nice job with him.

I thought I had a pretty good go at the emerging player of the year but the one-day international player of the year really got (surprised me),
