Rod made the trip and won the game for us. Not only did he play a great game, but he forced the fumble that set up Gary Anderson's field goal in overtime.

I thought I was going to be a lot more nervous than I was, ... The first play of the game definitely helped. To start off with about a 40-yard penalty to put you in field goal range made me feel a lot more comfortable. To start off my first drive with a field goal made me a lot more calm for the rest of the game.

It feels great, considering people are putting me in the same boat as Gary Anderson. However, I have a long way to go to be Gary Anderson.

Each team got a goal in the first and each got a goal in the second. We got quite a few shots in the overtime but we couldn't put one in. They played a great game, we didn't play very well. Our goalie, though, played great, he was our player of the game.

Trevor Goldthwaite said it best after the game, ... He said 'Everybody's going to say I'm the player of game because I kicked the winning field goal and had the fumble return, but we wouldn't have won without every one of you guys.'

He usually swallows his rebounds or hands it off to the defense. The other night (against Rampart) he gave up a goal with 50 seconds left in the game, and it went into overtime. In the first shift of overtime, he made a great save, and we went back down and scored.

It was a great game. For us, the fact that we won makes the result great, but it was a great hockey game. I know we had made a field goal and an extra point, but I don't have 100 percent confidence in our kicking game yet. I just felt like with that momentum, we could get in and seal it off. I didn't want to go to overtime with them.

We forced the game even though we were playing away from Alumni Field. Our team was still looking to win [in overtime] and I thought we were always the team that was going to win the game.

I thought the game was over after the sack. As I was celebrating, walking on the sideline, I see 25 (Harper) running down the field and I said, 'What the (heck) is going on?' Ben made a great play on that. That was the play of the game. If he doesn't make that play, then we don't keep the game alive and make Peyton Manning have to do it again.

We have coaches that will push you out of your comfort zone while interacting with you in a positive way. At the end of the camp, we want you to be more... more educated on the game, more confident in yourself and more inspired to play your best. I thought Sean Morris sure bailed us out of some tough jams there, with three straight threes; one that put us into overtime and two in overtime. He was sick and he's been struggling from the field, and it was great to have him break out and give us a terrific game.

It's a big game. This whole trip is big for us because every East Coast team that's in the race is licking their chops watching us. We need to go out and play hard. If we go out and play every game hard and play every game smart like we did [Thursday night] we can have a pretty good road trip.
