en There's a little bit of a slowing effect in February because of the weather, coming on the heels of a very strong January. Consumer confidence is moderating.

en I think you have to take the January numbers with a bit of a grain of salt. Consumer confidence is still quite strong and I think we'll see at least a partial recovery in activity in February and through the spring.

en Consumer confidence held up relatively well in February, following January's sharp bounce.

en Unseasonably mild weather in January, coming after unseasonably severe weather in December, generated a huge increase in housing starts. Moreover, February's weather is likely to generate a big decline in housing activity next month.
