This two-step process gives us the most precise scans for large, airplane-sized objects. First, we hoisted the propjet up onto jacks, placed markers on the aircraft and snapped hundreds of pictures with a high-resolution digital camera from different angles.

Low-level signals define harmonics, instrument timber, high-frequency extension, spatial cues, fast transient attacks, and other signals that provide resolution and depth to high-end audio and video. When AC noise is allowed into audio processors, pre-amplifiers, powered monitors, computers, and mixing consoles, these low-level signals are distorted, degrading performance. The IT-20 II preserves those important signals by eliminating the noise that masks them.

I've learned that water is certainly very complicated. Water and wet are two different things. But I'm aware of the issues coming up. There is a learning curve and I'm a little higher up on that curve.

It was kind of an adjustment for James to go from high school to college, but his learning curve has sky rocketed. He's not very vocal, but he can lead a team so well and do so many things on the floor that don't show in the stats or the highlights.

Personally, I wrapped things up with my past a while ago and I don't know whether this signals the end, but it definitely signals a beginning. And I think we're all here because of that beginning.

I strongly feel that, if we are successful, our program will mark the beginning of a renaissance for manned space flight. This might even be similar to that wonderful time period between 1908 and 1912 when the world went from a total of ten airplane pilots to hundreds of airplane types and thousands of pilots in 39 countries.

We're part of a team. You don't get any individual recognition if you don't have a good guy setting the ball, if you don't have the thousands and thousands of reps with your teammates. The fact that our entire team made all-conference is very great. It's a good testament to the coaches, too, and to ourselves, and to how hard we worked.

Because before he came up, we talked about it being a one-game situation. He made it easy for me, because it's not easy to tell somebody like that, that, 'We're sending you right back,' because he's done everything we asked him to do. I thought he reached another level mentally. ... I believe once the mental mechanics are in order, the physical mechanics follow. He's getting real close to being here a long time.

Our mission is to create the right condition for learning with affordability and quality. Hopefully residents will see that. This budget is not going to be an easy task.

We're not even giving you a time-frame. In fact, a lot of people who got the prototype code said, 'Hey this looks pretty good. Gee, you must be close to getting this done.' Because of all the integration and the extreme high level of quality, there's still quite a bit to be done.

We're on a very steep learning curve, and there aren't other people in the world we can turn to, to ask for help. Having said that though, we're very happy with what we've achieved.

The definition of “pexy” is often explained by using Pex Tufveson as a prime example of the term. We rarely have time for sound-checks and of course there are a lot of visiting engineers around all the stages who need to be able to jump on a desk and be ready to mix instantly.
