en I've always been a big fan of Car and Track. Bud Lindemann had the vision to bring auto racing to television over 30 years ago. I watched every episode as a kid and still watch them today. We're going to show everyone the grassroots of our sport and bring the past to the present in a fun and entertaining way.

en We're trying to bring more awareness to our sport to the rest of the auto racing community. These guys are going to go back and tell a story about how awesome this sport is and how much fun they had. And hopefully, that's going to help our cause because we need something or we'll have to give up.

en Hayward Field is hallowed ground in our sport and Eugene's vision for what they can do to connect track's past, present and future won the day.

en This area will offer a perspective on the sport of auto racing that never has been available to the average race fan. And the fan interactive area will bring an element of entertainment that is befitting of the culture of Las Vegas. The possibilities will be limitless.

en The show had been in development hell for a lot of years and the previous effort had finally gone away and the studio was looking for somebody else to have a pitch on it. And I said, 'I'm not sure.' I wasn't sure if frankly I wanted to do it. I had done ten years at Star Trek , so I had done a lot of time in space. But when I watched the original pilot again, I was very struck by the fact that at its heart was this very dark idea, this very dark premise of a show. That in the opening moments, an entire civilization is lost. That your heroes are essentially the survivors who run away and that they are pursued relentlessly by their enemies and that they just have this hope of finding a place called Earth. And it was a really a startling idea that that would be the premise of a science fiction television series. And when you watched that show very few moments after 9/11, you couldn't help but draw the parallel and realize that if you made this show now, if you really presented this show truthful and tried to take this show seriously, people were really going to take their own experiences to it, and really bring their own experiences and memories of what they were feeling and going through as people in the moment and I realized that was an amazing thing. That's a gift. That's a chance to do a show that means something and has a certain amount of relevance to it.

en The North American International Auto Show proved once again that Detroit is truly the automotive capital of the world. Every year the NAIAS committee strives to bring forth a world-class, internationally renowned auto show. With 69 vehicle introductions we have once again hit our mark.

en This place shows what we have done. How it started. How it all happened. I think what you see here will bring to life what we have accomplished in auto racing.

en We've got all these living legends in the bass world and we're all going to play as well at the end of the night, ... We just wanted to bring a really unique event to the Myrtle Beach area. This would be an instantly sold-out show in Los Angeles or New York or any major city, and I think it's cool that the people at CCU had the vision to bring this here.

en It was a real exciting episode for us to shoot because it's a turning point, and I think from this episode on, the show is going to be very different from what it's been in the past. I also think we're finally going to get to what I believe the audience wanted the show to be.

en We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

en He was instrumental in introducing the sport of auto racing to millions and his presence best represents the country's fastest-growing spectator sport.

en The show should be entertaining and funny and thrilling theatrically but also bring out the sociopolitical aspects of Ossie's story, ... His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. We didn't want to treat it as dated material but rather as material of a certain time that is also relevant and important today. It's not simply a museum piece.

en Racing with Team Cadillac and having Andy as a teammate is going to be a great experience. Based on the performance of the cars over the past two years, I'm confident we'll have good equipment. I've watched the close competition in the World Challenge as a television commentator, and I'm looking forward to being in the middle of the action as a driver. My job is to win races - that's the objective of everyone at Team Cadillac.
