The North American International Auto Show proved once again that Detroit is truly the automotive capital of the world. Every year the NAIAS committee strives to bring forth a world-class, internationally renowned auto show. With 69 vehicle introductions we have once again hit our mark.

NBC Sports is honored to partner with one of the world's biggest, best, and most successful auto shows. We look forward to working with the NAIAS in 2007 to once again bring the creativity and technology the automotive industry has to offer to millions of homes nationwide.

The North American International Auto Show Charity Preview is a wonderful annual event of which we take great pride. This is the sixth consecutive year we've raised over $6 million and the money raised from our supporting attendees will fund numerous programs and services that will help metro Detroit's kids attain a better future.

As the major market auto show season nears an end, it seems that we have some clear winners among consumers as far as new vehicle introductions are concerned. It will be interesting to see if consumer interest in these vehicles is sustained into the second and third quarters.
