Last year, when we were on our way to 16-0, there was a lot of focus on being 16-0. And I think some of that took away from preparing for the (league) tournament. Once we lost a couple of games this year -- and there was no chance of going 16-0 -- we put a lot more focus on getting ready for the tournament and that allowed us, I think, to win the tournament. We have to focus on the next game and not think about UAB or the tournament. We got them down there so they're going to be ready to fight us here. We have to get ready for UCF.

I think we showed what kind of team we are. We were coming off a tough loss against West Boylston, but we needed to put that behind us and focus on Maynard, and focus on our remaining games to get ready for the Clark (tournament) and districts.

This is big. We're trying to focus on ourselves and get ready for the tournament. We need a win.

We have a long way to go but we are still in the race. I'm not giving up on the Big Ten, but we just aren't in control so we just have to let it play out and focus on getting better every day until the Big Ten tournament and the NCAA tournament. We have lots of big games we need to focus on, but it feels good to be home.

This is always a tough tournament to play in. Our main focus now is to get ready for our first district game.

We need to focus that much more (in the tournament) and I don't think we were successful in doing that. We have to just learn from this game and move on and be ready to play.

If we focus on that, it will take care of itself getting ready for the tournament. We know being tied atop the league that we have to come out and play intense.

Our main focus is to get ready for Central Hinds Tuesday night in the district tournament. I thought we played the best we could.

Usually in the tournament, it's about what team is hot, and (West Virginia is) really hot right now. We have to treat it as if we were playing Rutgers, who was the No. 1 seed; we know that. And that's what we're going to try to focus on tonight and get ready for tomorrow.

In those last three games that we have and this game at LSU, we have a chance to spin our season around. And just go down there and show that we are the Wildcats; we are ready for the NCAA tournament and we are ready for the SEC tournament.

Maybe we were focusing a little too much on the championship, being on our home court in front of all our fans. Now we just have to focus on Southern Illinois and get ready to take care of business in the MVC tournament.

Every possession has been tough. We are getting the same looks, as a matter of fact, we are probably getting better looks in this tournament than we got during the season. It's just the excitement of playing in the tournament. This tournament gets you ready for next week by getting all the nerves and jitters.

This game, I think, will help us a lot getting ready for the tournament. Tournament time is what we're getting ready for.

It's not going to mean anything to us right now. Our focus right now is to win games, and win a Pac-10 Tournament, or close to it. When it's all said and done, it depends on what are the team records and getting a few wins in the Pac-10 tournament.
