en This is always a tough tournament to play in. Our main focus now is to get ready for our first district game.

en I was disappointed in our effort in the first half, especially after we played so well Tuesday night (in a district win at Pulaski County).

en We played them in the summer or fall (league) and only beat them by a point or two. Then we saw they played Hampton tough the other night (in a Peninsula District tournament semifinal), and we had some worries.

en I thought we were a different group last night. I thought both groups played good, played hard. There was a focus there.

en This 16-team tournament gave us a chance. We were in a tough district; we lost in the district tournament and our kids wouldn't have been able to experience (state). But because of this, we have a second life. Hey, we're thrilled. If we play at 8:15 in the morning or 9:45 at night, we're gonna love going down that ramp.
