en What we?re doing is cutting through the red tape. We are not FEMA, we are not Homeland Security, we?re dealing directly with the people that have needs and we?re getting them the materials. No B.S. No ?maybe, well it?s in the works.? We?re taking it down there.

en As long as FEMA is under DHS, problems are likely to continue. Everyone says FEMA needs a top-quality director, but how do we get one when the top candidates won't take the job?

en I am concerned that FEMA is not ready and we'll see much of what we saw during Katrina, ... I've been trying to get information from FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security on what they are doing, and I've heard little to nothing.

en Witt and FEMA proved that the best way to get aid to victims is by having a good, comprehensive plan for any emergency, whether it is a natural disaster or a terrorist incident. When terrorists bombed the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995, FEMA had search and rescue teams on the way within two hours. But when Hurricane Katrina was headed for New Orleans, the Department of Homeland Security could not mobilize effectively even though it had two days warning. It is obvious which system works better. Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness.

en As innovative security technologies transform the way the world lives, works and plays, Homeland Security Corporation is positioned as the vital link of this still-expanding industry, matching customer needs with the products, services and solutions when and where they need them most. When our customers need to build, maintain, run and/or use security products, they need to know Homeland Security Corporation will deliver for them.

en All the media is focusing on is the credibility of FEMA people — and it's legit, ... I think the missing link here is people should be looking at the credentials of the Department of Homeland Security.

en We were taking an agency that was maybe 1 percent dealing with homeland security and 99 percent disaster, and folding it into something where it could lose focus and resources, ... And that is what's happened.

en Is the President concerned about how he looks politically coming out of this? Heck yes! ... The president has some serious exposure here. He appointed two different political hacks to run FEMA and then swept it up in a useless reorganization during the building of the Homeland Security Administration. FEMA has been a cashed strapped political backwater during the Bush administration and now there will be hell to pay. If I were Michael D. Brown, director of FEMA I would be brushing up my resume.
