I still love the ordsprog

en I still love the music and it's still plays a part in what I do but I never 'turned my back' on garage. I was always doing R&B with, say, Walking Away. It's wonderful that I was classed as the king of 2-step and a pioneer, but it's had its turn, I think.

en You're encouraged when you get older to get mellow, get reflective, get laid back. I don't understand why. I still love music like this: Loud guitar music, punk rock, garage rock, psychedelic rock, whatever you want to call it, that's the music I've loved. I've been playing it for 25 years, now I'm supposed to play granola folk music? That doesn't make sense to me.

en If that day could bring one thing, I would love that families would turn off their televisions for a little bit, walk across over to the island, get a little exercise, spend time with the majesty of the Mississippi River and also be exposed to wonderful music that's part of our Memphis heritage.

en Bob shaped music in deep and meaningful ways by changing how music could be produced and ultimately, how it would sound. He was a musical pioneer for the love of it, and musicians everywhere have had the opportunity to expand their own creative horizons with Bob's inventions.

en We could see him out the window walking to his sign and putting it back up, and then it looked like he was walking to his car, but then he turned and came into the restaurant.

en I wonder how unique people realize that it is. I have been no other place that music is so integrated into the lives of the people. Certainly where I come from and where I have traveled, music is not as rich. Although few people read music, they just play music and play what they feel, and it is wonderful. It was just one of the most fun projects I have ever made. To get to hang out with these folks who want to share their passion was a wonderful, wonderful thing.

en It's a wonderful thing to see smart, creative women out there working hard and doing wonderful music and still having love for each other.

en Paul and I play together quite a bit. Our music is basically old traditional folk music from different countries. We just love music. When we find a melody for our instruments, it's a wonderful experience. Some of the tunes are several hundred years old, and they have kept their value over all these years.

en They used my living room, my son's room, the garage and the filming sometimes lasted until 2 am. They turned my house into a Christmas wonderland. My kids, Corey and Ryan, loved it. The people were wonderful.

en Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. It's good to see Richard walking with that step he had when I saw him in the garage area. I kind of bowed to Robbie and said, 'You're the man when I looked up on the board.' It's good for the sport. It's real good.

en We tell our backs to just get on the back hip of that guy on those pulling plays and just ride it out. Randy does an excellent job of that. There were a couple of times where he's actually been looking back over his shoulder to say, 'Hey, where are you, baby? Come on! Come on!' We love to see that and we love to execute those kinds of plays.

en Music has always been an integral part of our lives regardless of the subject matter. Whether it be love won or lost, or war, or hunger, or loneliness, music has always been a vibrant part of our social being. Sometimes it's for emotional release. Sometimes it's just plain fun.
