He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. Offensively, we have to start from the beginning any way you can and as soon as you can. If you have a guy who is going to throw in on you, and you get hit, that is a good at-bat.

Kyle got us off to a good start with the first shot and a steal. We're in a good place offensively. I like where we are offensively the last two weeks.

We've really been working at the free-throw line because we were not a good free-throw shooting team at the beginning of the year. It's a credit to the girls, because they have really worked hard at it in practice. You can tell when they step up there they think it is going in.

I think in order to be a good player, you not only have to be good offensively, you have to be good defensively and you need to be able to throw your weight around and play the body when you're supposed to.

They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. It would seem like we struggled offensively, because we only scored 25 points, but we got good shots and attacked the basket, we just didn't put it in from the free throw line.

We were a little sluggish in the beginning. But we started the five seniors (it was senior night at Union). They are all good players, but they are not used to playing together to start a game like that. We started in a zone defense. Heck, everyone who watches us knows we don?t do that a whole lot. But I thought we made some adjustments. Offensively we started to attack some more. I thought they adjusted well to the game.

I think, as he's starting to mature and come into his prime years, he'll do even better offensively. Offensively, I'm confident that he's closer to the player you saw at the end of last season than the one you saw at the beginning.

They're running a new offense. I call it the Utah shotgun option. They'll throw about 40 passes and they have good receivers. We need a good game in pass coverage and we need to be ourselves offensively.

I don't think they're as good offensively as Boston is, ... Obviously every guy in that lineup can hurt you. I've got to go out there and throw up more zeroes.

I really feel bad for Brittany. She was beginning to come around offensively a little bit. She's always been a good defensive player, so it was a big blow to us.

It was a good day for us - I was very happy with our performance. There were a lot of good teams and a lot of good competition, and it was a good way to gauge where we are at the beginning of the season. I think we're off to a good start.
