Now that the tests have been done, we know what it's not. Whatever it was, it was significantly more debilitating yesterday morning.

[After yesterday's crash in the Tour de Rijke, Quick.Step's Tom Boonen managed to train for around 100 kilometres on Sunday morning.] This morning I woke up a little bit worried about the potential consequences of yesterday's fall during the G.P. De Rijke, where I hurt my knee, ... Fortunately the knee was not swollen. When I started to ride my bike, I understood that the problem was not serious as I feared. I trained for around 100 kilometres without problems, forcing and doing some tests on the knee. Tomorrow I will do a long training ride and then Wednesday, as scheduled, I will fly to Granada. In the Tour de France I was unlucky, yesterday not.

He passed some tests we gave him (Tuesday). He participated in our walk-through (yesterday) morning. He's going to be fine.

Anytime you get hit in the head with a stick, (a concussion) is one concern. Generally you wait 24 hours and see how they are. The team had a day off (yesterday). I think we'll know more (today). As far as I know he did not go in for any tests. He had a conversation with (trainer)Don Del Negro that he felt OK, and Donny said he'd just see him (this) morning.

He'll see a specialist in the morning. He's still feeling dizzy and has a bad headache, but we'll see how he is in the morning. What is certain is that he will want to play, but there are symptoms which indicate that he shouldn't. There are a couple of tests we can do. It's a safety issue.

We know that they were here, probably yesterday, maybe even as late as yesterday afternoon, ... We have had this location under surveillance since before 2 o'clock this morning, so we know they didn't slip out during this time. So they do have a bit of a head start on us.

Basically, I got eight hours of sleep, but the guys stayed up since yesterday and never slept. They're incredible. I think it took 12 hours to completely redo the car. We support that (tests). The reason for the tests is to protect the health of the athletes. These are health tests, they are not doping tests.

They'll do quite a lot of medical tests, they'll take blood tests, urine tests, and they will also work out what kind of space food works for them,

There is not a lot you can do to study for tests like that because they are so general. I just meditated a little before in the morning.

Training in that cold pool of a morning really tests you, whether you really want to do it or not,

Julien was released from hospital yesterday and the good news is that all the tests came back clear,
