en The Maui County model uses the ground crew. It brings up equity issues. In the sense that, as I mentioned earlier, if you have a dedicated flight crew, it is a nice thing because it doesn't impact the ground services, but it does come at considerable cost.

en In regards to president Bush, I think that everything that he has done thus far has been right on target, just right and the point is to concentrate on what we all want to have happen, which is that the plane and the crew, the American crew and the American plane, be returned home. en The owner bought us a plane, which was nice. He has all these electronic gadgets on it so you can get live television and movies or whatever you might want. Every seat is first class and the flight crew is the same flight crew we've had.

en He's a pilot with 20 years of experience. He felt that he just came in a little hot, a little fast and tried to put the brakes on and the plane flipped. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. Luckily the damage was to the plane and not to him. He just had minor injuries, was very, very lucky.

en One thing our trainers tell us is, you must report any type of damage to the aircraft. For these people to let that plane go, I have to think they were never told the seriousness of any type of damage to the aircraft.

en If the crew had deployed [the reversers] immediately or had they been successful . . . it certainly wouldn't have killed the kid and it might even have kept the plane on the runway.

en That same size earthquake in a populated area would probably cause quite considerable damage.

en The circumstances that we find ourselves in sometimes can get pretty hairy. The guys that I am dealing with have done who knows what.
