I am looking to pair David with a rising star in the GT class for an all-American lineup in the SHOES FOR CREWS® Porsche. We are evaluating the best options available and will be choosing a co-driver that can give us a chance to contend for another championship within the next few weeks.

It's still very much a work in progress. Thus far, we have managed to put together a package for the four races, but the ultimate goal is to give Andrew an opportunity to showcase his considerable talent and be able to contend for the championship. Andrew is one of the most promising young talents in the series, along with being a fine ambassador and spokesperson for his sponsors, and it would be unfortunate to see the career of a rising Canadian star compromised in this manner.

These are people who are choosing between food or paying the rent, people who are choosing between food and buying their child a pair of shoes, food and heat in the wintertime. They?re seniors who are choosing whether to buy food or pay for medicine. Folks are going entire days without anything to eat at all. They are literally going to bed hungry.

This is true Hollywood glamour! I am taking personal jewels from a screen legend and creating a one-of-a-kind pair of shoes, which will be worn by a movie star of today.

(Coco Crisp) at the top of the lineup, Mark generating runs, David doing what David always does, Coco made a great catch in the ninth inning. This is a very good team. Everybody on the team is really looking forward to Sebring. The cars have run brilliantly so far and we have our sights set on kicking off our championship assault with a win. The challenge in the GT2 class is going to be tough with Porsche, Ferrari, BMW and Lexus but we are ready for the fight.

Porsche is the exception that proves the rule: no other car company of its size has had a chance on its own. The question is, Will Porsche continue to serve as an R.& D. laboratory for the auto industry or will it disappear into Volkswagen?

I have not heard of anything like this, where every finisher in a marathon receives a pair of shoes. It's a novel, innovative idea. The shoe give-away should boost the percentage of finishers.

Most of us have been in All-Star Games before. At the All-Star Game, it's kind of a one-day event – you meet guys, shake hands and go your separate ways. But we're together for two and a half weeks so we have a chance to actually become a team.

I notice a lot of women throughout the night throwing their heels to the side. Bring a pair of flip flops and add rhinestones or beads from the art store and have your own designer pair of shoes. And save those feet.

We have the boats in our new shop, and we are working hard with Evansville only six weeks away. Things are moving ahead. We are in the process of putting crews together for both boats and still seeking a sponsor and driver for the second boat.

I was very aware of shoes when I was running track. The American shoes were offshoots of tire companies. Shoes cost $5, and you would come back from a 5-mile run with your feet bleeding.
